Mic Hunt is an accomplished producer in both television and live entertainment events. She's the bad guy. Hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico, but shooting for the Stars, Mic is the heart and soul of M&Z Productions.
Theater & Event Production
In 2023, Mic Hunt was the Producer, Stage Manager, Publicist, and Lightboard Operator for A Steady Rain by Keith Huff, directed by Jamie Wollrab, and starring Shaun Sipos and Lewis Pullman, stars of Amazon Prime's Outer Range, at Teatro Paraguas in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The show was met with standing ovations from sold-out audiences including the likes of Josh Brolin, Lily Taylor, Imogen Poots, and Bill Pullman.
Film and TV Production
Mic has written, directed, and produced two seasons of Albuquerque's premiere drag sketch comedy show, The Sokka Show, on Channel 27 Public Access, also available on Facebook and YouTube. The show was praised in the Albuquerque Journal for representing equality and respect in the LGBTQ community. She was on the news for season 2 and recognised two local film festivals. Mic also produced a feature-length documentary about bullying within the queer community titled Poofs.
Author
The Ancient Shadows series is a book trilogy centering on the lives of ancient beings whose souls and lives intertwine through the ages. Mic Hunt introduces the series to the endearing cast of characters with the hilarious yet enthralling first book, Dear Dead Xander. The sequel, the Mirror Creep, is due to be released in the fall. Follow Queen Victoria as she challenges the established order and overcomes an old abuser's torment.
